Nice, one thing I really appreciate about the way EB builds these things is how good a job they do matching the grain in the different pieces of the body. For awhile I thought I had a 1 piece ash body until I finally noticed it's three pieces, but man you have to look close to spot the line between pieces. Unlike some other brands where you can see that line from the back of the bar... (or those 70s les pauls,what were they thinking?!)

The Neck - just wow!
Exactly the combo i would choose. With the exception of the rosewood fingerboard.

congratulations on a superb bass.

Thanks for the nice comments, I new this BASS was special the first time I seen it hanging on the wall. I was very surprised when I seen the birdseye neck, and new I had to own it.
