I recently purchased a PODxt Live and really like it. Floorboards have come a long way. For the money, its impossible to beat all that you can do. They sound good, and you don't have to mess with building a pedalboard (or the expense) and worry about a huge loss of signal. I got the PODxt Live for the direct recording possibilities and its ease of use with my simple setup. I bypass the amp models and use the effects, but always have the option to treat an amp model as another variety of "stompbox" tones. It has a ton of features and I'm only getting started. Its like having the best of Line 6 products all rolled into one affordable product (POD, Guitarport, Vetta II amps, Stompbox Modelers). In bypass, it doesn't seem to mess with my JP7/MESA direct tone.

Dang son, very nice, I see your spending them canadian dollars lately...JP7, floor board....whew........
Yes but keep in mind I sold off a few guitars to get the JP7 and I'm constantly selling things aswell. The other day I sold some pedals for money (can I say how much  ) and as soon as I get the Tonelab in I will sell my Boss ME-50 and my Behreinger V amp 2.0...so it's not like I'm turning out tricks like an ol' whore :D

Raz, let me know how you like the Tonelab. I'm a Boss GT fan (got a GT6 & GT8) and there's been a lot of discussion about the Tonelab vs Boss GT vs Line 6 over in the BossGTCentral forum. The general concensus seems to be that the Tonelab amp models are hard to beat, but the effects are lacking something...

I tend to use the GT8 most of the time, but I occasionally use the V-Amp2 amp models in the effects loop of the GT6 for PC recording. The effect flexibility/programmability of the GT series is hard to beat.

Oh...and to tie this back to EB, my Pet sounds AWESOME through the GT8 into my JC120!
