I put the DiMarzio Andy Timmons pickup group in this, a treble bleed on the volume control, and a push-pull coil tap on the tone control. It is now my perfect guitar.

I would *highly* recommend the treble bleed whether you swap pickups or not. I am installing treble bleeds on all of my guitars based on how this sounds with it.

Awesome! Love the Silo Special and I love AT's tone. Cruiser bridges for the single coils?

One of my Silo Specials is 2/3 Timmoms-ized: AT-1 in bridge, Cruiser Bridge in the neck. It has an Area 58 in the middle which does nice things to the #2 and #4 positions.

Have you tried the JHS @ (Andy T) pedal? Highly recommended if you are a fan of Andy!!! All my EBMMs sound great through it.

Now, that's trippy... I have the exact same setup in my tangerine pearl Silo Special. Except I'm rosewood board and a black pearloid pickguard:

Enjoy!

Yep, cruiser bridge in neck and middle. I have a JHS Sweet Tea (dual pedal w/ Angry Charlie & TubeScreamer) and it handles all of my mid-high(er) gain stuff. I actually stack it with a home brew Klon pedal that I put together and it is magical.

Dude, I'm pretty sure with that collection that any combo that I put together you would have at least *tried*. Seriously, you should be on scholarship from EBMM where they just send you guitars...

Nah man, that's just how it came. Previous owner had same idea as you with the AT pickups!
