Attention Greg - My Silhouette Guitar

hi
I own a Musicman Silhouette Guitar (2nd hand).
The S/N is : 91977.
1st - I'd like to know the manufcture or purchase date.
2nd - I have a bad buzzing problem and bad sound.
Perhaps the pickups should be changed in addition to to adjustments.
I would like to know if you know of a qualified place in Israel to make an overall fixup.
I love this guitar very much but the sound is unaceptable for recording.

Regarding the bad buzzing and bad sound, have your guitar looked at by a repair person. Contact Marom Musical Instruments @ 36124466.

Thanks,
Greg

And I did ...

And they've sent me to some guy who fixes guitars....
So my Silhouette Guitar is there now - and it will cost me 100 US Bucks...
Hope it will be worth it...
b.t.w. - that guy classified my guitar as an "Old type Silhouette Guitar " - what's the difference between the "old" and the "new" types???

Older Silo's used a different bridge, tuners, and neck plate. Sound and playability should be the same.

Thanks,
Greg

I have looked closely at the Silo's pics on this site...

And I have noticed these differences.
Actually I think that my version is better:
I can LOCK the strings so they won't go out of tune, and fine tune at the brigde using the 6 tuning knobs...
It stays in tune for months...
