My soundclip. Check it out...

Hi all, check out that clip and tell me what you think about it. I'd be grateful for any opinions. Basically I would like to know what do think about the sound of my guitar. I know this all is quite poor playing, lousy, inaccurate and with bad timing :) but check it out, thx

Hi fog, well my gear isn't high class. I have Marshall AVT 150 amp, it's a 1x12 combo with four channels and some effects in it. I used also a Boss CE-5 chorus and 535 cry baby. I miced the amp with a vivanco microphone (cheap thing) and that went straight into my PC's sound card (soundblaster standard). So nothing special really, thanks for kind words, take care bro

You don't need to have Ferrari equipment to sound good.
I like it.
So what guitar?

ooo guitar well, it is a copy of strat made by Polish luthier for me, I paid about 600 $ for it. At that time I haven't got enough money so two single coils are cheap korean things and the hum at the bridge was some mark pickup but I ve forgotten the brand  I wanted to buy a Silo now to have more professional guitar. This one which I have now is quite nice but there are few things which make me nervous. High action which can't be changed, problems with tunning. I have a picture somewhere wait....:)

Phillip,

Your playing is really great. You asked for opinions, so I will offer some. First, I like your sense of melody. The solo was very pleasing to my ears. The only criticism I would offer is that you might incorporate some silence at times. I don't think there's any 'space' in that solo for more than 1 beat. Allowing a longer rest here & there would allow my ears to 'digest' what they just heard a little better.
This would add some rhythmic qualities as well.

Your tone is awesome, your bends are perfect, and the fact that you're only 20 makes me jealous! You have a lot of talent. Rock on, brother!

Great tone particularly the wah parts, I sense some Petrucci influence :) The Hollow Years solo by any chance?

yep I was influenced by that solo form their live DVD. And it was one of these days when I say: "I can play like Petrucci" ;):D so I learned that simple melody and then just recorderd that thing at first take, good ear there Terry, thanks
