I picked up a new Rickenbacker 4003 in Jetglo a couple of weeks ago and have been playin it non-stop since I got, I've always wanted one sice I was Cliff Burton with one.

Anywho, I was practicing with my new band ans started off with the Ric and jammed for about an hour or so, then we took a break and when I came back the drummer asked about my Sterling (he works at the music store I got the Ric), he said he hadn't heard one of those, so picked it up and blazed through some more songs.

I don't know what it is about THAT Sterling, but I will never get rid of it, the sound and feel are just end all, be all, and as much as I have longed for a Ric, but my MusicMan still slays it.

Sterlings are #1,2,3,4,5.....etc........

HEHEHEHEHHEHEHEH!!!!

I sold all my Ricky's.........And used the money to buy Sterlings!

My Sterlings are #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #6 on my list!

Followed closely but #7, my 'Ray, and #8, my Bongo.......

And I don't even HAVE the Bongo yet! I just know it's gonna be that good!

P.S. Come to think of it.....I don't have the Blue Dawn yet either.....Oh well.....

I just traded in my 1974 Ric for a Stingray. Despite the fact that my brother originally owned the Ric and apparently had an emotional attachment to it.... I don't regret it at all. Hopefully my bro will forgive me. :)

I can't say.......I've never haggled over the price of a Music Man.......

Just call me when it's done and I'll bring money..............

Having said that, I did ask for a price on the Dargie Bongo I ordered. But only because I had never dealt with Bass Central before.

You'll have to check with your dealer.

I picked up a 4003 recently in a trade, but it never came close to the Bongo live, so I've sold it on.

Apart from an EUB and a 6 string, I'm selling off all my basses as they're never likely to get used again live, I even moved on the other Bongos (H and HH) to spread the joy, as all I need is that glorious HS sound.
