Valentine with the flame maple neck and the Cutlass prototype #9. I replaced the stock pickups on the Cutlass with some Tex-Mex pickups and it nails those Jimmy Vaughn tones. For some reason, the Cutlass is heavier than the Valentine.

The story is that the red color sample is supposed to be Fiesta Red, but the factory made it more fire engine red.

I think it might weigh more due to the trem block.

And that trem block is way bigger than other import trems at this price point.

Correction: This CT50 was item #9 on the master list of 50+ prototypes that SBMM was selling. There were 3 other CT50 prototypes listed, two were 3-tone sunburst, one was white.
