After a buying spree lately, I FINALLY have the EBMM basses that I will be happy with for the forseeable future. I really wanted a 20th SR5 but I just couldn't justify spending the extra money after buying my new 30th SR4. I love the single H ash/rosewood SR5 and am very happy with my decision.

A Bongo 5 is gone and I had to sacrifice my Sterling for the new SR5 I grabbed today, but the 3 Balls I now have are amazing and do everything musically I need.

Specs are in my sig.....

Nice group you have going there!

Wow!I kinda agree now.:eek::)

I was cleaning up some old memory cards from my camera tonight (literally as I read this post!) and I found a few pics that I forgot I had from last fall when I was gigging my Bongo 5 all of the time. I miss the HH Bongo.

What makes finding these pics really special is that our singer Steve (in the red shirt) died in a snowmobile accident on New Years day this year and it was one of the last gigs we did together. Freaky!

Here is a couple of the pics.

That was a really great looking Bongo.

And sorry to hear about your buddy. I've lost one or two myself along the way.

baird...collecting our basses is like painting a fence you are never done

As long as you don't follow up the 30th Anni SR with a 35th, 37th, 39 1/2, I will be just fine. Also, if you wouldn't mind making the upcoming LEs and BFRs resemble Wishbasses, my accountant would appreciate it!;):D

but let me be the first (?) to doubt your "forseeable" future... :D

I will be #2.:D

Very nice! That blue dawn/maple combo is sweet, but the 30th is my favorite SR. As others have said, though, a Bongo would look really good with that trio.
