Nine Wals?!?!?!

About ten years ago I played a used Mk.II that was for sale in a shop in Oslo. It was $1000. It was really, really good. I thought about buying it and I should have, but I didn't. Instead, like a #&*§%#& moron, I bought a passive Fender Jazz 5-string. You know, the model that didn't really work. So thanks a lot Jan, for bringing that to my memory! Aaaaaaaarrrgghhh!

j/k ...you're a lucky guy with many fine basses. :)

I´m sorry that you missed out on that Wal. They go for up to 6.000 us dollars these days.......

I got mine when they were rather cheap. Great instruments. The eq is abit tricky but the best when you´ve figured it out. You can easily dial in any type of bass sound. Everything from a Jazzbass kind of sound to rub-a-dub low bass.....

But I use my Stingrays a great deal more. Love them..... My favorites indeed.

Hi, Jan, how much of Marco Polo tee do you want for your "regular" 20th SR5? :D

I live near Paris, can send you some if you want ;)

Hello Jan,

You have quite a collection there, very nice indeed. Glad to see so many fine instruments in the hands of someone who uses them regularly and appreciates them for what great instruments they are! Happy hunting in the future. If you are like me, there is always another on the horizon to lust after. :D
