Just scored a killer amp on Craigslist. I already had a TM10 that I love and had been wanting the 60 for a while. I found this one for $250 so I had to move on it. I sold my Vox AD50VT to finance it but, I think that's ok. Sorry for the low quality photo but I didn't have much lighting since it's midnight and I am using my cell phone.

Congrats on your new amp! I also recently bought a used Tech 21 TM60 for $230, but the footswitch wasn't included. A standard footswitch will change the TM60's channels, but not switch the reverb, or boost on/off.

Replacement footswitches from Tech 21 are very pricey at $95. I'd buy a used TM60 footswitch, or a generic - if I could find one that would work. Any suggestions for an alternative source?

The more I play this setup, the more I like it. It really does it for me and better than most the tube amps I've owned. I think if I add a Silhouette Special to the mix I'd be set. For a little while anyway...

I sold my Marshall Haze 40 combo to get a Tech 21 Power Engine 60 that i use with my Vox Tonelab St, it's awesome!! I was going to get a Trademark, but got the Power Engine to go with the Tonelab! I'd like to daisy chain another PE 60 with the preamp unit wether it be the Tonelab or the Tech 21 PSA 1.1...thats 120 watts baby!!!Tech 21 makes great stuff!! A perfect combination with a Music Man Guitar!!!!

Thanks for your eBay suggestion. I check eBay regularly for Tech 21 stuff, but haven't seen a TMAR3 (footswitch model for the Trademark 60) in the past year.

FYI, the footswitch for Tech 21's 120 watt amp is incompatible. For now, I'm just using a generic footswitch to switch channels - but it won't control reverb or boost like the TMAR3.

Spending $95 for a new replacement TMAR3 seems ridiculous. But I suppose it's comparable to buying two basic footswitches, plus a quality boost pedal.

I was hoping someone had discovered a more common (i.e. cheaper) footswitch that would give me the same functionality as the Tech 21 gear. Guess I'll have to save-up for the "genuine Tech 21" TMAR3.

That does seem steep for a footswitch. I wonder if there is schematic out there that would enable someone to wire their own. Hmmm...

Great amps. I have a TM 60. Although true tube amps like my Zinky or Soldano edge it out in the tone department, you can't beat the Tech 21's for versatility, reliability and everyday gigging. It is my most used amp for everything from classic rock to jazz. I have had mine for 10 years and never a problem.

Congratulations!
