So After a few days of rest and some practice time in I wanted to share my progress. Thanks to Banjoplayer & Michael Kuschi Kuster for the tabs!

yeah that´s a start - especially considering the fact that you have the tabs just a few days. I find the rhythm tracks are playable for us "normal mortals". The solo is another thing...

Back in the early days of VHS instructional DVD's I had an instructional tape by Morse which I bought on a whim, as I really didn't know who he was outside of one bad a# player from reading guitar mags.I just remembered I loved an instrumental he played on it called 'Simple Simon' where there was a section where the guitar sounded like a fiddle. Also the booklets back then would come with 16-bars of a song tabbed out if you were lucky. Reading this thread I looked to see if any of the tape was on Youtube and low and behold they had him doing the whole song from the original tape as well as breaking down a few sections (including the sick mixolydian run he does in it) and some overall advice on playing. This was the tape where I also got the tip on running warm water over your hands before playing to get the blood flowing. You can tell how old this is as his #1 looks brand new lol

But for anyone that doesn't know this instrumental it is one of my favorites and very addictive.
