I never named any of my guitars, but that is a great idea since now I have 2 beauties worth naming. (Yeah, I know they're backwards)

How about Mordor and Kermit?

I call my RW ASS rosewood bit my wife callers her rosie. My 25th is named Aneña ( sounds like Ah-nIn-Ya). She is named after my wife's cousin. While on a trip to Brazil in October I meet this cousin for the first time and the fact that her body made me think of the 25th and her name started with An made me think that I was ment to name my 25th after her.

I haven't posted in ages but I like this thread so I'll add my two. I don't really do naming them after people:

D-Purpleburst flame is called "Sea" - makes me think of ocean depths. I have a strap with sharks on it to go with the theme.
Purple Sunset quilt is called "Sky" - makes me think of a sunset reflecting off clouds.

Lol I call my Mystic Dream "Misty." Misty's also the music piece I played as my audition to get into a music college!

I've generally named my guitars after their original players, but I named my Dargie II The Green Machine. My mystic dream JP6 is The Chooch.

Before that I had The Kirk (KH-602), and The Randy (RR1). I also have an Ibanez that I've aptly nicknamed The Huge Piece of ****. It's really not a bad guitar, though. :)

Lefty, I am totally surprised that Dizzy hasn't stepped in and offered to name your guitars for you.... I'm envisioning him calling them something like: the Cherry Dullard and the Green Mutant... Haha, love the Cherry BFR and the Dargie is, well, a Dargie... seriously though, nice guitars man!

anyone else want to share the names of their favorite guitars?

All of my guitars seem to be named "my guitar." As in, "hand me my guitar," "who knocked over my guitar," "why is my guitar out of tune, "who let the drummer touch my guitar," "why does my guitar smell like bar slut?"

It's pretty interchangeable between any, but can be confusing when there are more than one on the go, then they're by color. The RED one, the BLACK one, etc... I only refer to them like that around band members, so I found its best to keep the naming simple. Drummers and bass players in particular are easily confused.
