I saw Joe Web's post this morning (thanks Joe!) and did not have the 49.5 minutes to commit at that time. I bookmarked the link and watched it when I came home from work.

So glad I came back and watched it. Made my evening. Very, very inspiring. So many words of wisdom. Sterling and John are so exceptional at what they do and yet are so humble and down to earth. Likewise for Steve, Luke, Albert, Annie, and James, all of whom were mentioned. Just a great interview -- watch it if you have not already done so.

:)

Awesome! Thanks for posting OP.

Two class acts for which I'm very proud to own guitars with their names on. Very progressive vibe and thinkers as well.

My Majesty continues to make me smile every time I play it and I've owned it for almost a year now. I had no idea that a guitar could make me feel and play better.

The class doesn't end with these two gentlemen either. Everyone that I've had contact with at EBMM & SBMM from very accessable senior executives to customer service and technical service people, have had this same quality as well.

These arent as easy as you may think....I did them with Vai, Annie, Walsh, James V, Steve Morse...I need to talk less....but I think there are some things in these that aren't your normal guitar magazine interview.....(at least I hope so....) Thanks for not skewering me.

nope, it's just perfect!!!
and i think no one else could talk with our heros like you do, because of your "contract" having with them.

the respect and the personal distance is totaly different as any guy from a guitar magazin would have, and that's why nobody else can do it, like you do it!

thanks for that BP!

It was great BP! I really enjoyed hearing the stories about Eric Johnson, Morse, etc. And love how humble these guys are. Just awesome they are like that.

Just spent the hour watching it.

I think this might be my favorite JP interview ever. I even found the segment about practicing inspiring because with a full time job and a 5 year old, I sometimes struggle to find time to practice.

Thank you for doing it BP, and fantastic job!

I agree... the conversation was incredible... i experienced it live and watched it again on this thread.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!!! LOVE!!!! LOVE!!! how BP renews contracts, hand shakes and a hug... it's incredible the level of admiration and respect that flows from BP to the Artists... and from the Artist to BP... it truly is a family and I even feel like in some way i'm part of that family by being an owner...

Sterling is great... love that guy!
Every year i go to NAMM i feel as if i can approach BP and just say hello and he knows me through the forum... where I can't just walk up to other owners with the same feeling of belonging...
