We will be arriving on Wednesday about lunchtime.

Will most likely hit Joe Jost's in Long Beach for lunch that day. :D

After that, we'll be at the Fairfield Inn until Sunday.

(2) Exhibitor booths.
(it's a living, sort of...)

There are those with whom I've spoken who have promised to buy me Ale, and drinks with higher alchohol content as well as $12 pretzels and such....

We'll see....:D

Hey Richie,

Let me know if we should contact Warren. And for the rest of you knuckleheads, if any of you want to go to Dizkneeland while in Anaheim, my buddy can accommodate up to 3 people per week day (he really doesn't want to go there on weekends).

Lemme know.......tbone

What are the dates? ITs usually pretty easy to talk my wife into a Cali trip.

Dates are 1/14 - 1/17.

I'm going for sure. I don't think I've missed a winter NAMM since I started attending back in 1985! Of course it's a lot easier when you live in So Cal.

Me personally, I've always known cats in the industry, although from about 1987-1999 I was working for a company that was a NAMM member. For the last few years I've gotten a pass from a pro audio company that I'm working with on a line of cabinets. So, as with everything else, it's all who you know. If you are good buddies with your local music store, start asking about passes around September and remember you now have to have your name on the pass - not like the "old days" when you could have a pass with any name on it and they did not check IDs. They check now. It IS worth checking out - you'll want to bring your GAS list because you'll be adding to it! The coolest thing is being able to check out all the pro players demo-ing gear. And, every night there are many concerts put on by various mfrs, so you can check out more great performances usually for free. Oh, and of course it's always nice to stop by and say hello to the Ball Family!
