While the bass has been waiting for me in NY for a couple of weeks, I just got back and finally had the chance to pick up my new Game Changer! My initial reaction from first picking it up was how noticeably lighter the bass is in comparison to my Stingray. The neck feels AMAZING. Super slick but not cramped. Then of course it was time for the Game Changing. As you move things around on the grid, you can actually here faint clicking as the wiring changes inside the bass, very cool. I haven't gotten the chance to mess around with too much yet (it's a lot!) but I've already had fun listening to some of the presets in the library (the last setting in the Rock Bass folder is awesome!). Being as I've been playing my Stingray almost exclusively for the last 4 years, I'm finding myself being drawn to the passive tones as well as the tones with coils in series (as I believe most of the settings on the Ray HH are in parallell). Anyways this thing is awesome! I'm playing a small show next weekend where hopefully I'll get some good gig shots of it. Also should be recording my first song with it starting in the next week or so. Can't wait!
Also, to BP or whoever deals with the online product registration thing, when selecting and instrument there's not option for Game-Changer or even for Reflex bass (there's Reflex guitar and 25th Anniversary bass as an option).
