UPDATE: New better pictures on Post#15

So the new Bongo got in. Have about 10 minutes playing it and I can already tell a differance between it and the Ice Blue Single H Bongo i used to have. Tone is a tad snappyier but the biggest differance i can tell is this thing is a sustain monster. She did not seem to be very photogenic today (or maybe i was being a bad photographer)so i will post the best i have. JOSH

Thanks guy... i was a bit unsure about how i would like the color with the roasted when i first ordered it but i am sold now. Crazy combination that works very well together. Now the true question, to tort or not to tort? JOSH

Hmmmm ... extremely curious on the Tort.... BUT ultimately I think the black on black is going to be the big winner.

Congrats Josh, yeah they love to sustain these Roasted series, I think the Ebony board and the Roasted neck work well together. I briefly had an all Maple Roasted which oddly didn't have the snap the Ebony board has. All the best, Rick

Nice one Josh, looks great !!
Don't know what to say as far as Tort, Think it looks pretty good as it is black on black, the Tort might distract away from that stunning sugar finish !

Congrats on another Roastie Beauty in the fold, I was really hesitant on the color myself and held off, but I agree it's great.
I think the stock Black guard is perfect, the Tort might be a little busy with the metallic "sugar", ether way All the best with a killer Bongo.

I don't know if I would like tort with the black sugar finish, but I also haven't seen the color in person.

Based simply on pictures, I think vintage pearl would compliment both the sparkle and the roasted neck as an alternative to black.
