Pete described the birdseye on the neck as "obnoxious" (in a good way).... he was right.

WOW!! Matt that is probably the most amazing combonation I've seen yet in the roasteds. I was thinking about that exact same combo, but I really suck at fretless. That blank plank ebony is just SICK!

CONGRATS man!

Ugh  ...wow, ...what a plank?

The most black ebony I've ever seen ...and look at this sparkles, ...so as birdseye roasted maple! :)

That's "The fretless bass" beast!

Congrats man, stunning bass! ;)

The binding looks awesome with the black and natural headstock. Almost starting to regret not ordering a Reflex... but still completely happy with my Bongo. JOSH

whoa congrats, that is sick, the cream binding looks incredible with the Black Sugar finish and an Ebony fretless board to boot,
yeah that's a beauty right there. Rick

Thanks guys, they did a knock out job on this one.... let me tell you. The Black Sugar finish on the Reflex sans pickguard is something too, because when it lights up, it LIGHTS UP. The board is flawless, the neck is ridiculous.... overall its just a great aesthetic combo. Tone is what I remember of the the fretless 25th, maybe a tad darker, very nice midrange, and a phat plump bottom.... but then again, its a Reflex.... the complete tonal chameleon!

I'll post a video when time permits.

Its fun having a FL again too, I've been without for a while now actually... and I'm probably more at home on one than a fretted... or atleast used to be. :)

OH, and before I forget.... NO FRETBOARDS WERE HARMED IN THE FILMING OF THESE PICTURES... the rounds came off before a single note was ever played. :) I'm sure the Slinkys would sound fantastic, but I've been waiting for a while to have a fretless armed with flats again!

Yes please, ...just one request, ...don't make it toooo long like You did before, 3 minutes is just enough for everyone to get the picture, if Yo know what I mean?

OK, in this special case, 5 min. would be perfect! :D
