I just purchased this beautiful Bongo 4H in Candy Red and it is a fantastic bass. The playability and tone is second to none. I am going to change the pickguard...My three choices are: Black Ice, White Ice, Vintage Pearl. I'm just not sure which one...Oh well, its nice to have choices.

I think any of those choices would look good. Candy Red is always an awesome color, and will look good with just about anything that is a neutral color. I would go for the vintage pearl. Not quite as bright as the white ice.

Awesome bass! I love Bongo's. I also love 4 H Bongo's. But I really love Candy Apple Red Bongo's with a single humbucker. Mine has the piezo option on it though. But what I think makes them look the best is the abalone pickguard. Droooool!

I really like the Black Ice on mine, its cool looking without being a distraction to the rest of the body.
