Thanks to Pete DuBaldo for the great service on this one. I can’t recommend him enough. Thanks to EBMM as well for making such beautiful instruments. The buld quality on this is incredible. Sounds just like a 2-band Ray should and the SLO neck is super comfortable to play. The weight is 8 lbs. 10 oz, which i’m quite happy with. I might post some sound clips/video at some point once I get a little more comfortable with the fretless. Here are the pics...

Oh, that's a nice one, reminds me of one I had years ago. It was called The Vampire Ray because someone bought it from a guy who was in some goofy goth band that used fake blood and whatnot on stage, and I had to clean all this fake blood out of the cavities. But it was white, single H, lined fretless (non SRO neck of course, this was a long time ago).

Anyway, that's my story for today.

Nice bass!

Thanks Jack. If you or anyone else in the know can tell me what type and gauge Slinky’s are installed at the factory, it would much appreciated. My guess is that they are nickel Super Slinky’s. I’m thinking about putting some Cobalts(rounds) on it. I just want to make sure I use the same gauge.

Pretty sure all EBMM basses ship with super slinky, 100-45 pink packet
