Mine's kinda used looking, cuz it wasn't new when I
got it, and then I've used it a bunch. You've got the
makings of a booootiful looooong term relationship !

I'm pretty sure that the color dates yours as being
in the "Late Ceramic" period [corrections welcome],
which means, relative to it's 4-string cousins, it's a
Sterling ... rather than a Ray ... which for FL is way
preferable. I like my FLs 2B Sterling and my toofies
2B alnico. SR5's reverted to alnico when the "real"
Sterling-5 was intro'ed. Unlike the 4-string versions
of SR5 and Sterling-5, there's no neck differences
between the 5's ... so it's all/only about the tone.

Can never go wrong with an SR5... any combination of frets/pickups/colours are a gift for whatever band is lucky enough to have a bassist who plays with one.... (I may or may not be biased.... see sig below.... )

My thoughts exactly. Absolutely stunning looking fretless. And, piezos, too. Nice. I love fretless with the piezo bridge.

I wish Bongos were available with white pickup covers. Actually....Maybe I don't. I'd be forced to buy one.
