I just got a new camera - upgraded from my previous super-compact point-and-shoot model - and wanted to take some test pictures so I figured....what better subject than my PDN Bongo. Hope you guys don't mind me posting some more PDN pics. This time I made sure to figure out how to get a better angle to show the details of the neck figuring - all in appreciation for the superb work done by the fine people at EBMM.

Mahogany, fretless, 5H, this has got to be the fattest meanest sounding bass ever. Nice pics, thanks for sharing. I dont think we can ever have enough PDN pics.

I'm happy you guys like seeing the pics. I've been wanting for a long time to be able to take pictures that actually show all the beautiful details that you see in person but I just couldn't do it with my other camera. I'd personally LOVE to see some nice high-res pictures from some of you other PDN owners - particularly those amazing flamed versions like Lefenton and KevinM!! That would be amazing!!!

I'm pretty sure mine isn't any prettier than anyone else's - though mine is the only unlined fretless PDN that I've seen. I know I searched for, and drooled over, the various unlined fretless pics other guys have posted in the past so I'm glad to feed your unlined fretless fetishes!! Lol...

Here's two more I took last night under halogen lights (like the previous ones) and a couple I took this afternoon lighted by some indirect daylight. Too bad the upload process and conversion to web-friendly sizes degrades the image quality a bit but...I guess that's how it goes.

I will try and capture some tomorrow. I've been meaning to pull out the better camera.

Thanks. These are just straight out of the camera with no alterations being done to the pictures.

I bought a Fujifilm X-E1. I'm really enjoying it - though my skill as a photographer has a long way to go match the capabilities of this camera!!!
