I agree - the flames are going the wrong way for a start!

Nowhere near as nice as Jack's Flaming Bongo.

I am surprised I didn't see this. I watch Ebay everyday for Sterlings..... half out of curiousity and half hoping something strange will show up like a fushia sparkle.

Too NASCAR for me. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I once considered flames on the all-black back side of a burst L2500 I had. There's a guy in CA who was featured on Discovery Channel who flames up muscle cars, and most anything else with his air brush. Mike something or other. His flames look like real fire, though, all wispy and orange-bluish with subliminal skulls or demons in the flames. Artwork, really and the only flame jobs I ever thought were cool. Always wanted to do that on a black bass, but always sold the black ones and never kept them.
