A couple of weeks ago I bought a used Luke II and I have a question about it.
When I press the low E string at the first and 17th fret I can put a (thin) business card underneath the string at the 12th fret.
When I do the same thing with the high E string I can't slide any piece of paper underneath the string.
When I did put a new set of strings on the Luke and all the strings were removed, I put a ruler over the neck and noticed a difference in height (at the 12th fret) between the high and low E string area as well.
Is this normal? I do experience string buzz on the E and B string from the 9th fret and higher and not on the G, D etc. The action is quite high.
Anything I can do about this?

if the Luke is no more under warranty try to find a good Luthier (I know one in Amsterdam if you need)

Diagnosing at a distance is difficult in most cases, particularly in this one where I can think of a few possibilities. If it's used and you have no warranty, get a good guitar technician or luthier to look at it. As always, Music Man customer service are there to help too.

DrKev,

I tried to send you a private message, but your mailbox seems to be full.
