All,

I'm in Budapest Hungary and regarding the neck maintenance on my Y2D (gunstock wax and tru oil), what products exist as substitues here? Can anyone recommend anything?

Thanks,

Tom.

Hi Tom.Tung oil works well, and as far as the wax goes,I*ve been using floor wax..circa 1975...just an old can of solid paste wax.I*ve used the tru oil, etc, and actually prefer the tung/floor wax combo.

Sounds like any good quality wood care product (oil and wax) can be used..which is what I've thought.. I'll look around here for suitable substitues. Thanks for that.

I use watcos danish oil, and for the wax howards feed and wax, which consists of orange oil and beeswax, carnuba wax, its mosty wax, more of a paste.
