Has any one noticed their neck pocket could be a little tighter? I just bought a new Albert Lee model guitar and there is a small gap running along the neck pocket on the low E side of the neck. The gap runs the full length of the pocket. The high E side of the neck however is nice and tight. The end of the neck inside the pocket appears to be tight as well. It really isn't that big a deal to me because the guitar plays and sounds great, but I've always been told the tighter the neck pocket the better the tone and sustain. Perhaps the 5 bolt neck plate compensates for this?? I've played several other Albert Lee models and they all had the same gap on the same side. Although the gaps did vary from pretty snug to a noticable gap, all the guitars still sounded fine. Just wondering if any one else noticed this and if they had any ideas of what might be done to improve or correct this. Thanks!
