Any of you knuckleheads own both models? I know the Sabre is pretty small toward the headstock, but curious about the differences and pros/cons from those with experience with both.

I own 4 Luke 3s, and 2 Sabers. The Luke is vintage style - very comfortable soft v neck. Narrow nut, 12” and very small tiny nickel silver frets. Floating bridge (Can be had in Floyed Rose double locking, which I personally prefer).
The Sabre is wide nut (Ibanez or Charvel/Jackson style), 10” fretboard, small size but at least stainless steel frets, thinner neck (Ibanez style I’d say). Dive only MM bridge.

Luke L3 has really amazing pickups and switching. Absolutely love the sounds that are coming out of it, on all switch positions. The neck is great, the soft V is pleasant. Overall an A+ guitar. Don’t like the small nickel frets, but can live with it if have to.

The Sabre has (to me) a better neck profile and width. I personally absolutely prefer the stainless frets. I wish those were jumbo, or super jumbo. The pickups on Sabre are great (both HT and regular), but I’d say I like the L3 pickups more though. I’d say the Sabre pickups are kind of Ibanez classic sounding (think ToneZone), while the L3 ones are so pure, clear and articulate. Lower output. Simply love them.

So for me, I have to keep both the Lukes and the Sabre. I don’t see much overlap, and both are absolutely great instruments yet very different.
