I have a Morse and haven't played a Luke...no one locally has one and I was curious, how do the neck profiles and thickness compare? I'm aware of the V in the Luke which I have no problem with, just curious of the overall feel difference.

If you can find a store with Ovations. The V neck is similar in a lot of ways. (Pete DuBaldo showed me this when I asked and he didn't have a Luke in the store). I've since played several Lukes and they do feel similar. The Luke is really, really comfortable to play (and I'm an Axis player).

They feel totally different. The Morse isn't a big neck (esp the new profile), but the Luke feels much smaller by comparison.

Really with this the only way to know is to try one.

And now you can find out for yourself hahahaha ...She leaves in the Morning for Alabama....and for what its worth its a very very nice neck ...having never played a Morse i cant compare ....but it feels like an old strat...very slick and very comfy for soloing ...something about the way my hand slides down the neck really makes me a better player.
