Does anyone know about neck thickness on Sterling vrs Stingray?My sterling feels as thick as any Fender I can recall,yet they tell me it's a scaled down vesion of a Stingray.A Stingray must be fat as hell then,eh?Don't get me wrong, I like a chunky neck,I think it contributes to tone.If I get tired,I pick up my skinny 'lil G&L for a while.Thanx. Actually, the Stingray neck radius is closer to that of a Fender. Your Sterling neck is considerably slimmer than a Fender Precision neck. The Sterling neck is quite close to a Fender Jazz neck.
