I'm used to Strat and Tele necks but Last week I tried the Steve Morse Music Man and it just felt amazing
The thing I don't like about it is the Floyd Rose and the pickguard
I really like the JP6 but it has a wide neck (43mm) at the nut
Is there a MM Guitar without a pickguard that has the Steve Morse neck profile
or does the Steve Morse neck fit on JP body ?

the axis and axis super sport both have chunky necks and no pickguard. the axis has a FR, the axis SS doesn't. you can also get a morse withouth floyd rose.

I would try a hardtail Morse, and just get used to the pickgaurd. The Morse neck is great feeling, and the Axis neck does not feel the same to me. But alot of people here love the Axis neck it has an asymeterical curve, thicker on the bass side and thinner on the skinny side. Also a Silhouette or Silhouette Special both have a nice C shape.

The morse neck is the winner ....I never felt such a good neck ...maybe Yamaha Pacifica that one has a nice narrow and thin neck but the quality can not be compared with MM
I really like the JP series with rolling saddles and strat type tremolo the budy is hot too ....the neck is too wide for my small hands so I'm thinking to buy it as a piecemeal JP body and S Morse neck
