Does anyone have a clear picture of a music man LIII HH 2013 trim pots factory settings? I'm just really curious what those settings are like. Mine has 2 trim pots.
I don't think you'll be having much luck eyeballing those. Pots have crappy tolerances, and the pickup comp trim pot doesn't do anything for 3/4 of the sweep. You'd probably be better of setting them by ear, or measuring them with a multimeter like they do at the factory.
If you still want to try, the factory setting for the boost on the volume knob is 21 k on a 51 k linear pot, so just shy of noon. The pickup comp one is set to 5.4 k on the newer ones, but might be around 8.1 k on the older ones according to a document I got from CS. So that would be somewhere either around 8 or 9 o'clock. But this only if the pots are perfect, and no pots are.
