I've got a MM Luke and I'm very happy with it! My amp is a Koch Twintone and it's cut not good through the mix(sorry for my bad English, I hope you understand what I mean.) I'm looking for another amp (!000 USD) which have a good match with my Luke. Need advice....

I'm using a Egnater Rebel 30 with a single Egnater 12" cab. Sounds great. I was highly considering getting a CAE 3+ SE preamp to get Luke's signature sound though, If you can afford it plus a power amp, that would be the way I'd go.

Product :: 3+ SE Guitar Preamp

Active pickups sound very different than passive. Be sure to try the Luke in the Hi and low jack if you have one. Might make a difference in some amps.

I dont think there is anything wrong with that amp...you just need to set up the EQ differently as the active EMGs sound totally different from passive pickups. How long have you had the LUKE and the Koch?

I have the Luke 4 weeks now and the Koch 4 years....with another guitars (strats and teles) I didn't have this problem. With the Luke I tried different eq with no results...Maybe I must try an another speaker?

I'm not that familiar with the amp, but I know its quality stuff. I dont know how you have it set, but in general I would boost the mids to cut through, especially with the LUKE. You just have to play around with it I guess...if it really does not cut it then you might want to try another amp.

I am assuming being a Luke it has EMG's? EMG's generally need more mid and less bass from the amp, EMG's are easily lost in the mix, but when you get it right they work great.

If you're considering a new amp, and you like Koch, I'm no Marshall fan, but the Vintage Modern is a great amp. It's pretty much a taste thing though. Try what you can but a Koch is a good amp.

I agree with Rob and would really take sometime tweaking and playing with the amp settings before going for a new amp.

as a rule...VOXes cut through most mix. Nice inexpensive vox: AC15HTV with the celestion blue

I like my little Swart 6v6se with my Luke :)

Thanks you all! I experience at home with the eq and it's sounds better! Next week I will practice with the band and I'm wondering if I get better through the mix. Continued....
