need allen wrench sizes for axis floyd

I need to buy 2 allen wrenches for my axis. One is a real small one for the bridge saddles and I also need one for the 2 outer posts on the floyd. The one for the nut on the neck and for locking in the strings on the bridge came with the guitar. If someone could give me the sizes that would be very helpful. Easier than taking my guitar to the hardware store.

You can usually buy a ring of allen keys that has a bunch of different sizes, small to large. That's what I have. You will usually get the right one you need for just about anything, including the Floyd.

If you don't receive an answer sooner, I can take my trusty ring of allen keys to visit a floyd on my InferiorBrand guitar. I don't know if the Axis floyd will use the exact same sizes, though..

I can't get to it until late tonight, Eastern Daylight Time, though.. won't be back home until late. Hopefully you'll have an exact answer before that time and I won't have to handle that 'other' guitar!

I'm pretty sure those sizes are metric (the super sport uses 1.5 and 3mm-I suspect the Floyd is different)

2.5 MM for the saddles and 3MM for the nut/string lock down

Thanks Jon. The one I've got is the 3mm. So the saddles are 2.5mm. Any chance you'd know what the 2 outer posts are? The 2.5 mm is the one I need right away. I've got some issues with the b string. I thought It just had a bad string on it when it arrived, but after putting on a new set the problem is still there. When I pick down on the b string it sounds like it's fretting out but it's not. If I pick up it sounds fine. Hopefully snugging up the saddle will do the trick. Unless I got another bad string, which is highly unlikely. I'll get the allen wrench tomorrow and have a look at her. Other than that she's perfect. Just finished a good 3 1/2 hour session with her.

I just checked my Ib@nez Floyd, but I couldn't find my metric allen wrenches.

Whatever metric size is between 1/8 and 7/64 will work for the posts.

The 7/64 turned it, but it's a little loose and might round off the inside of the screw head.

I just checked the bridge post wrench size and 5/32 will work, but 4MM is better...WooHoo!
