I'm starting a page of my current and past basses and I'm trying to take some decent pics, but they keep coming out blurry. I've got the lights turned off, the windows open, and flash off. What else can I do?

Natural light is very, very good for basses:

Take them suckers outside and let the sun do all the hard work. Careful they're not in direct sunlight; that tends to overexpose and wash out the details. Indirect sunlight is fabulous.

What kind of camera are you using? Does it have shutter speed control? If you're stuck with automatic modes, put it on a tripod.

Its a digital camera. A Fujifilm Finepix 2650. I shall take it outside. I'm becoming quit envious of your work.
