Need help with pickup height Luke....

Can anybody tell me the correct pickup height of the MM Luke?
Mine Luke got the EMG85 in the bridge and 2x SLV.
When I press the string at the last fret:
EMG85:
2,9mm treble side (0,114173228 inches)
3,3mm bass side (0,12992126 inches)
Both SLV:
2,7mm treble side (0,106299213 inches)
2,7mm bass side.

I ask myself if this is correct because I read somewhere on the web that the pickup height must be high as possible, so close that the pickups just not touch the strings when you press the string at the last fret.
Who can help me?

Just use your ears ... there is no "correct" height. Every player is different.
Steve Morse put his pickups very low, other people prefer to have them very high ...
Just experiment ... if it sounds good for you that means that you find the perfect spot.
