need info on a pre-ernie stingray serial #002***

hey guys, i just got the chance to pick up a pre-ernie stingray serial #002***.....the guy i bought it from says that the electronics are a little scratchy and need to be re-worked...the good thing is that the bass is completely original...no mods whatsoever....original case too....i got this from the original owner....the bass should be here on monday.....so any info would be greatly appreciated...does ernie ball have someone that works on musicman? thanks, patrick

Get the whole serial and these guys will tell you what when where and how it was made.

I am sure EB will fix it up for you and there is staff that frequents here.
