Need serial number information ...

Hey folks,

I'd like to get some information concerning my Pet. It's serial number is G26874. What does this serial tell?

The serial number will tell you when you guitar was finished at the factory (date of birth)

Yours comes up as being finished on 1/17/05

Short answer no. The neck plates are in a box and chosen at random, at which point it goes into a database that tracks the model and options for that guitar or bass. They can tell you what type headstock, neck wood, color etc. and where it was shipped to.

If you need a new neck down the road they will look it up and you will get what it left the factory with, i.e. rosewood, matching headstock...
