Hello,

I'm one of those cool girlfriends who supports my boyfriend's music career

His 45th birthday is in April and he has never had a 'nice' guitar his whole life.

He wants a Ernie Ball SR5 - and I forget the colors now of course that I'm in here but one is Carbon Blue Pearl, and the other has something to do with the desert and it's orange

He's boycotted Guitar Center so I can't go there and get one because he'd probably protest the gift LOL but I probably need a major chain like that in order to afford it....

So can anyone help a girl out? A point in the right direction perhaps?

I got him a t-shirt from the EB site for Christmas - but for this milestone Bday I'd like to get him a milestone guitar.

Thank you!
Peace

Nuffin, I moved your post to the main forum so more people would see it.

I'd personally recommend calling

- DuBaldo Music (Welcome To DuBaldo Music Center, I think) and talking to Pete DuBaldo
- Audio Classics and talking to Rich Briere
- Daddy O's Music Shack and talking to Doug
- The Perfect Bass and talking to anyone who answers.

In call cases, mention that you found them on the EBMM forum, that the most bitchinest moderator ever sent you, and one of them fools should be able to help you out.

Where are you? I might be able to find someone local to you.

Check out Bass Central!!!

Bass Central

They have tons in stock and are really easy to deal with. They are great guys to deal with.

Oh, and Desert Gold is the color you were thinking of. Same finish as my Bongo :)

This is truly a great thing you are doing. If you are close to south tennessee, I can point you in the direction of a few dealers here. Good luck on your quest.
