Guys I'm struggling with something. I just bought a MM90 rosewood neck AL. Guitar is stellar in every respect. I put 11's on and did a few minor tweaks and the guitar was a breeze to setup. Some guitars take some encouragement if you know what I mean, but this one took very easily. Okay so here is my situation.....there is a roasted neck hardtail AL that I can get for about $300 cheaper. Not new....actually it is at Music123 and I am assuming was a 30 return item. Since the roasted models are no longer available I am thinking of returning the rosewood AL and getting the roasted. Do you guys (in your opinion) think the roasted neck is worth this endeavor? Obviously I cannot afford both but I can't keep thinking the roasted may be too good to pass up.....considering the run is over. The rosewood is an excellent guitar on it's own however. For those who own a roasted model should I consider this or am I just going nuts for no reason? Thanks in advance for everyone's input!

Having owned both, the roasted neck is definitely my preference but I've never got along with the feel of the rosewood necks and the finish on the roasteds is smoooth and super stable. The black sugar finish is not too different from ordinary black imo though...

Black sugar is not the only roasted limited edition EBMM has made, and probably wont be the last. Others will come to you in the future when you can afford it. I would say keep the one you have and like and you've already bonded to.
