Bass Central just put up on their site that there is an additional 1 week window to order Neptune Blue that expires August 18th. The is a great move, MM.

I think this is a BAD decision by EBMM, by doing this, the whole point of making limited run is non-existant

^ Limited Edition means limited edition. It's not a production model/series that you can buy whenever lol.

And no this isn't a bad decision, now that every model is essentially out in the wild people can get a better idea of what they're getting on different models and get the chance to order.

Music man invented the verb "to waint" for this ultimate 2014 PDN run : "to wait" and "to want"!!!

But, at the moment ... I JUST would like them to start building the PDN 2014 Albert Lee's.
Using the WILDEST bird-eyed/ figured roasted mapple for necks. Tastfully coloring the body with their neptune blue "burst"
(Not too dark please because the pickguard will hide the center and that STUNNING "coral" colour)
And just post ONE picture... so I can keep wainting and not act as moody jerk with the people I love!

To me, they may open the window for everyone! Let's all have the coolest guitars on earth, with the nicest looks!

Well I had a new JP6 arrive, was told it would have SS frets and it ends up being NOS from 2012. So back to the dealer it goes. Anyone order a PDN in Canada? I called L&M, they didn't seem to even know what they were.

LMAO, wow quite the opposite, demand for the product dictated an opportunity to create more still very limited.

Yep,
And my hasty decision to jump on the Semi-hollow body has cost me a PDN. Dang, I want one, but can't swing the cash unless my other one sells.

What's up with the negativity? I can't imagine being upset because a really cool thing has been made available to more people.

I'll give you negativity Beej... Just when I FINALLY convinced myself I don't need a 2014 PDN Axis or BFR AL they reopen the order window and THEN to top it all off Pete goes and posts that amazing BFR Axis... Gas reignited!

Seriously it's totally cool they reopened the order window. I hope EBMM continues to give is the opportunity to order cool, unique things!

Oh jeez, the Bool strikes again. And no, this isn't a bad decision, it is a freaking awesome decision and a positive thing. No idea why anyone would say anything other than "cool" to this news.

+1! If I missed out on a run I really wanted, I would be over the moon If I could still order one. Act fast though, one week goes by fast :)

bad idea. can of worms has been opened. Just move onto the next cool idea. Or was that the end of innovation?

Yeah, I don't see how reopening the order window for a week could possibly be a bad thing. I ordered one during the initial window, but we were working on limited information because there were only a handful of photos and a couple of models that had been already built. Now that everyone has seen the incredible pics as these hit the streets, I suspect there will be a bunch of new orders as those who may have missed the original boat jump on board. I'm not gonna lose any sleep if my Bongo 4HSp is a little less rare based on new orders. I already know of one. It won't make mine any less awesome.

What city are you in? L&M itself is not a Premier Dealer. Looks like the Vancouver location specifically is.

From Music Man's PDN site, these are the locations which are Premier Dealers:

Italmelodie
LA Music
Tom Lee Music Limited
Long & Mcquade- Vancouver
Avenue Guitars

Yep, thanks. I ended up calling my guy at the F'ton L&M and he found the info in less than 30s then called the EB rep to find out what the code for the rosewood fretboard JP6 was. So now I have to decide if I want to spend an extra $400ish on the PDN or be patient and find a deal on a used JP6 with SS frets.

The kicker? My new director, who I've been mercilessly goading into buying a guitar, just ordered a Morse today. So I guess the ball's in my court lol
