Just received this (Sterling, 4Hp, Pacific Blue Burst, Vintage White Pearl PG, Rosewood board, matching headstock) Monday from TPB after nearly a 6 month wait. Longest 6 months of my life, but it was well worth the wait. This thing has so much tone from just the humbucker, with some sweetness to mix in with the piezo. The neck is so slim, I feel like I might break it, and sometimes feel like I'm playing a kid's bass. I'm just used to a 5 string neck  Many thanks to Brandt for putting up with my countless e-mails wondering just what the heck was going on. Ok, I know, too much rambling, not enough pictures...enjoy the new as well as the old!

Thank you, sirs! Not only is that SR5 adorned with the elusive white ice PG, but it's main color flavor is lava pearl.

I am now a true believer in the Sterling cause. I've gotten more compliments with it: "I like the way that one looks over the other one" and "Dude, your bass was sounding killer tonight." The EQ is so sensitive, the slightest adjustment makes such a noticeable difference. Honestly, I almost want to trade the SR5 for a Sterling 5HH, it's swayed my opinion that much. But maybe I should just get something else...maybe a Stealth Bongo 5HH could be next. Months and months away next.

Beautiful bass, of course I'm obviously a Sterling man. :D

A six month for a bass built just the way you want it ain't bad in my view. Heck it's a nine month wait for a new kid and at this stage in my life I'll take a new Sterling over a kid every time!
