Stankface was asking about the strap I'm using, shown in the gig pics thread here: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15708

It's a Levy's, 2.5" wide, don't remember the model. When poking around on the net, I found that they're coming out with a new padded strap, 4.5" wide. That's about as wide as you can possibly go, I think...any more than that, and it'd be hanging off your shoulder.

I love my strap, but will probably pick one of these up.

Here it is:

I have an amazing Stephi strap that I think is 4" wide. Unfortuantely it is too long for how I like to hang my bass now. My levi's that is short enough isnt as comfortable.. I need to find a better strap.

I got a 3" strap last year and it took me ages to get used to it after a 2".

I think 4.5" would be too much for me!

If it's like the one pictured, mine is similar but was too long. I took the narrow adjustable pice out and use one of the slots to hook onto the strap button. It warks, and I've got a nice wide, short strap.
