I received my AL about a week ago and restrung it for .8's, which created a little fretbuzz(obviously), which was fixed with some saddle adjustments. My question is, do I need to move the saddles forward at all because I put .8 gauge strings on? A tech told me this sometime back, but it does not seem to be a problem on this AL so any opinions on set up here would be appreciated. Thanks, and the AL is EBMM's secret weapon everyone needs to hear these.

Hmmmm....

Well, only move the saddles front or back if you are having intonation issues. Otherwise, leave them be.

May just need some truss rod adjustment due to the decreased tension with the very light strings. Like Norrin said, the saddles moving forward/back would deal with intonation issues rather than action or reflief issues.
