My 10th amber EVH was a real surprise. The pictures were bad and pretty non-descriptive, but the price was right so I grabbed it and had it delivered to my tech's place. He returned it to me last night. I've only seen this amount of birdseye in a couple of other EVH's. I ordered a custom guitar from another company recently and paid the $500 "Museum grade birdseye" upcharge, but it didn't have this amount of birdseye in the neck! Check out the pictures...

Actually we know it wouldnt last but we always try to make the best we can.....

Hey BP,

Why wouldnt it last? Wheres all the heavy birdseye wood now? (I assume the trees still produce the stuff!) Do you still get the odd plank in that has this scale of figuring?

That neck is beautiful...
