Hi, I think the pickguard looks excellent. Albalone is a beautiful material.
Might I recommend some black mother of pearl tuner buttons? That would be the icing on the cake!

So, how do you like the Transition? I really like them.

Its a little darker than the abalone I saw online, its almost forrest greenish, got it from Jacob at MM, was the only one so I wonder if its some kind of demo pickguard, it really looks green to me,,,anyway how badass is that thing gonna look on stage! lovin my MM guitars!

They look fantastic!

I had a fantastic gig with my soul band tonight. (This is now the band I've always wanted, with the guitar I've always wanted too!) The Silo Special was A-MAY-ZING! I spent some time dialing in the pickup heights yesterday and I was so happy tonight. It is the ultimate vintage-influenced tone machine.

Thanks doc...the stock pups were great but I wanted a more modern sound so I changed the humbuckers on both...the blue one has a Duncan distortion...and as mentioned a transition in the black...they're basically superstrat style guitars,,,high output...shred even though I luv all styles but the versatility of these things is awesome...my fav in the mm lineup for a pure gigging guitar! and they r so comfy to jam around with...playing my new silo btwn writing on the forum..lol
