Looks like it has some nice upgrades!
What would you value your XBox 360 at ?

Yeah, it's an OLP. The quality varies. I'd say go for cash unless you actually want the guitar.

Guitar upgrades probably cost the owner close to or more than $200
I have not played one of these so its probably something you need to play before you decide. I would also check eBay to see the potential resale value if you decide you don't like it.

If I was some dude trying to sell my Xbox (I own one myself) on Craigslist and I had never played guitar and some dude offered me his OLP Van Halen with some very decent upgrades... I would take the deal, learn to play it, realize how fun life can be, and start posting here instead of hanging out on some "gamer" forum.

(NO offense with any of this)

I've owned an OLP version of Axis 7 years now, and it was my trusted main axe until I got my JP6 couple of months ago. I changed the pickups (into DiMarzio AirZone and AirNorton) and other electronics (added tone pot), and I had to also change the saddle two years ago, but the playability and the feel is just great.

I actually saw the guitar in the shop window one night when we were had a gig in another town, and I fell in love right away. It was weekend so the shop was closed, but next week I drove back to that town (abt 160km from where I live) and tested three different OLP MM1's. The difference between these was huge, but fortunately one the guitars was just excellent, so I bought that.

After getting JP6 the OLP has been my backup, and there's no point of selling that, 'cause I'm not getting practically anything (I paid 290e and it was brand new).

My mate (OlPlayer) has an OLP Axis, and his is a fine example.
$200 would be too much for an OLP in original form.

However the upgrades may make this a fair deal.

The OLP did not come with a case so if he is throwing a hardshell case into the deal then that should be taken into account.

If you really just want the cash for your XBOX, just sell the XBOX for cash. You could probably sell the guitar for cash, and you may even get a bit more than $200 -although probably not too much more, but it's kind of a hassle to sell 2 different things instead of just one. However, If you actually do want a decent 'starter' guitar this one looks like it might be pretty good.
