Just got my new SUB 4 active fretless in today... I put new strings on it, set it up, and man, does it sing! The only strange part about the bass is how light the fingerboard is. I thought it was just dry, so I put some lemon and linseed oil on it to moisturize it, but it's still a lighter brown than my other fretless. A lighter piece of Pao Ferro I guess? Here are a couple of pics...

The serial is X07340.... any idea as to its DOB?

Nice axe!! something about the smooth board...it's not just an unwanted jammer deturrant...it's cool. How's it compare to the 3 way tone adjustment? Contact cust. service on the D.O.B.

Love the Musicman basses with fretless necks...don't own one, but if I got the chance, I would. Still can't bear the thought of swapping necks on my Ray yet. Hopefully I will find one for sale one of these days.

I've been saying "POW-FERO"...lol, is that right?
