Hey Gang, as you know i got myself an axis on Friday which i thought was new turns out it was 3 years and 4 monthes old and i was having a few issues that i didnt think i should be having on a guitar of this caliber,
The neck on my Axis was rough and scaly feeling and from this board and the serial number i was able to go back to where i bought it and say listen guys this wont stay in tune it doesnt feel right from frets 1 to 5 because the neck was so dry it needed to be treated BUT i didnt feel on a BRAND NEW guitar this was right so i asked for a new one to be ordered and so in 8 weeks or so i will get my BRAND NEW from the factory translucent Orange Axis i even get the color i originally wanted
so all is well that ends well and in the meantime i still get to enjoy looking at this one!until mine gets here.

Hey Lenny:

I'm from the Maritimes too. Im in NB(really close,uh?!)

I found the Axis is so rare in the Maritimes and the only place you can buy EBMM is Musicstop. But their price is just crazily high and the guitars there seem far cry from new due to the trying out by everybody. So I just ordered my Axis from the states.

i'm just wondering how could you ordered yours from THE FACTORY?

BTW,congras on your new one!

Well thats what they told me ...they didnt have any at their other locations .....and i watched him do the order at the puter with the usual questions rosewood or maple?.....what color?...........Matching headstock?..............i can only assume that he ordered the guitar from his rep who will then order the guitar from EBMM IF they (the distributor) dont have one then ..The guitar has to come from somewhere

Yup i sure did
We own Amherst Music Center But dont deal with EB yet (town of 10,000) its a 27 year old Family run Buisness and we have everything but EBMM guitars and basses and Fender we kicked them to the curb 10 years ago! so i had to go to Music stop to order it,good group of guys in moncton
