Bass Control

So, I'm finally playing bass in this new band called T.F.D. We spent 9 hours on Sunday writing, practicing, and recording 5 new songs. I, of course, used the Sterling 5 all through the fun. Playing with everything flat and my effects turned on at times, we were all blown away by the sound that I was getting out of the instrument. There was never a need to cut back or boost anything. I've also found home to the three humbucking positions for holding down the bottom end.
Unfortunately with the way we recorded, the bass isn't that present (the guitarist tricked me into using a tom microphone to mic the bass cab), so I think we will be DIing everything bass in the future because there is so much that could've been picked up, such as taking the bass and turning it into an organ at one point in one of the songs.
Thanks for finally doing the Sterling 5 this year! This is just such a killer instrument! I WANT ANOTHER!!!
Here's a link to one of the songs.
