Sorry, but I don't know how to order a new bass. I want an Ibenhad, is this the wriiight playce? I rock better than most. Iwantabassthatwillrawkmorethanitwontrawk.

All joking aside, I need to know who to call for an order. I have a few ?'s.

How much money to get it going? JACK?
Can I order my color from the ebmm site?
Do I have a choice in cases? ha,ha
Can you promise me it will or won't be tongued?
Can I order an H + S?
Can you promise it will play like a Rogue bass? (my fav)
Will you show up at gigs if it goes out of tune?
Will BP slobber on it , too?
Will it rawk out like a warlock?
If I order a rosewood board, will everyone tease me?

Actually, I need to know what the down payment is, and how long the wait time is. I've seen basses on evilbay, and I'd rather buy a new one. I haven't bought a NEW bass for a long time.

My bass: Sterling
4 string, white w/ matching headstock (i mean WHITE!)
HH
I guess thats it.
BTW, pearloid pg

The company has a lot of great colors, but I only see white in my mind. I wish they made an SR body with a Sterling neck.

Now's the time for everyone to help me... I'm used to rosewood f-boards. The white and white looks better with maple. How hard is it to keep a maple board maintained? Do they get ugly early in their life? Do ya have to oil them? How bout the back of the neck (even with rosewood). I haven't had a maple neck since my old G-3. I've heard you have to oil mm maple necks... do you? I want to be sure about everything before I bug (jack) someone about an order.

BTW, I want an HH Sterling. I know I'd love the neck. Can anyone tell me about the Sterling with a H/S?

AND, how do I go about putting in an order? (jack) I'd like to talk with someone personally when I place it.

Thanks everyone, and sorry so long! DeWayne

As far as maple vs. rosewood, there isn't much maintenance difference. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't have to oil a maple FB regularly. Tonally, rosewood is a little darker, while maple tends to be brighter.

Maple will show the dirt if you don't wash your hands before playing.

I just want to know about the boards before I commit any money. I don't have much imagination for color. I love white guitars. I had a white strat when I was young and I miss it. I saw a white ebmm bass years ago and thought it would look great with a matching h-stock. Then I got on the ebmm site a couple years ago and saw one (build your own?) and was sold on the color (or lack of). I miss the sparkles, though. I liked the black sparkle a lot.

Anyhoo, I'm asking anyone to give me advice on the diffs between the rose and maple on ebmm basses. I wish they had an ebony to choose from, but beggars can't be choosers.

Keep the advice coming. Thanks!

DeWayne, I'd be glad to help you out. Got your PM but it's easier if you email me.

My PMs get filled up REALLY fast lately.

White with a white headstock..dang, man, it's hard to go wrong. I'm not a maple guy, but I can see why some people are.

Beware of the Warlock! (I played a gig with him tonight and he was completely un-warlockish.)
