New BFR6 owner here

Hi,
I got myself a BFR6 this week. What a great guitar. It's a quilted type brown.
I got this guitar to go along with my LP. It replaces an Ibanez RGT3120 Prestige.

If I A/B the guitar with my LP, it's *almost* as fat but the sustain is incredible. The Floyd is great as well. I'm really stoked by this guitar.

I play the guitar through a Mesa Boogie mark IV and a VHT SigX.

would it be possible to post a recording with the same riff playing but with both of the guitars ?
would be of great help for me, i want to get a BFR/Paul but i can't handle the weight of the paul for long and the JP6 is superior to any guitar i've ever tried in my life, if it's the best of both worlds, that is what i wish to find out

I play mostly blues/metal but i don't mind hearing any lick (slow lick) to hear the full sound of the guitar.

It can't. The BFR is a completely different animal. I've tried the BFR quite a bit both here, and in Tokyo. I've never found it different enough to consider it a superior version of the JP6. It's just different. Not better.

I have 3 20ths. I love them to death. But everytime I do a gig or go to a jam session, I never fail to take the JP6 with me instead. It's just so portable and so versatile... Can't go wrong...

I actually feel like buying one more JP6 in white and putting low output white pups on it!
